Pharmacy technicians spend most of the workday on their feet. They interact with people - especially customers and pharmacy staff - throughout their work day. While many communications are face-to-face, pharmacy technicians also spend a significant time on the telephone. Most pharmacy technicians work full time. They sometimes have to work nights or weekends since pharmacies may be open at all hours.
